Account information. When you create a Pro or Team account, we collect your email address and, optionally, a display name. We do not collect payment card numbers directly — payments are processed by Stripe.
Deal data. On the free tier, all deals are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never transmitted to our servers. On Pro and Team plans, deals you choose to sync are stored encrypted at rest on our infrastructure.
Uploaded documents. When you drag a T-12, rent roll, or other document into the underwriter, that file is transmitted over TLS to our server, passed to Anthropic's Claude API for parsing, and then discarded. REDealIQ does not permanently store uploaded documents. Documents are held in memory only for the duration of the parsing request (typically under 30 seconds).
Usage analytics. We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage events (e.g., "underwrite completed") to improve the product. We do not associate these events with personally identifiable information without your consent.
Cookies. We use a single session cookie for authenticated users. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics (e.g., Plausible or GA4), we will update this policy and present a consent banner.
We do not sell, rent, or share your underwriting data with third parties for their commercial use.
Uploaded documents are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. By uploading a document, you confirm that you have the right to share its contents and that it does not contain sensitive personal information (e.g., tenant Social Security numbers) that you wish to keep confidential. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle data passed to their API. We recommend reviewing it at anthropic.com/privacy.
Free-tier data exists only in your browser and is cleared when you clear browser storage. Pro/Team cloud-synced deals are retained until you delete them or close your account. Account records are retained for 90 days after account closure for fraud prevention, then purged.
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Cloud-synced deal data is encrypted at rest. We perform periodic security reviews and follow industry-standard practices for access control and audit logging.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or California, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@redealiq.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We will update this page when our practices change and note the revised date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
